Teej Teej festival is the biggest Hindu festival of Nepalese women, which is celebrated all over Nepal. The festival generally falls in August or early in the September. Mainly, the festival is dedicated to Goddess Parvati, who was the wife of Lord Shiva. During this Teej festival, married women take fast for the long and healthy life of their husbands as well as pray for the prosperity. At the same occasion, unmarried girls take fast to get good husband in future. Both Married and unmarried women celebrate Teej with love and dedication. During the festival women are dressed in red Sarees with gold ornaments from head to toe. On this special occasion, people invite their married daughters to their home to celebrate the festival together. It is also an opportunity for the women to go their parents’ house. My Father My father name is Peter Magar. He is 42 years old. He is a trekking guide. He goes to different mountain to climb. He is very hard working. He went to climb mountain for 1 week. On weekends, he takes us in dinner outside take us beautiful places to visit.  My father is fat. His hair is brown and black. His eye is small and red also. He always wear paint T Shirt because he loves to wear paint T Shirt . He is very kind and honest. He helps my mother in household sometimes. He cooks very tasty food . Someday he makes food and he will give to eat. He loves his family . But he loves me more than family. He buys everything what i need. So i love my father very much . We should not make him tension and sad. We should love respect and obey him. In conclusion, my father is a man like no other. Gaijatra Gai Jatra festival, the procession of cows, generally falls in the month of Bhadra, which correspond to English calendar months of  August/September.  The festival of cows is one of the most popular festivals in Nepal. It is said people in ancient time started worshiping Yamaraj,"the god of death" on this day.  However, the modern form of celebration of Gai Jatra came into existence in the medieval period of Nepal during the reign of Malla Kings. The present form of Gai Jatra with humorous acts, parody, comedy and was started by then King of Kathmandu Pratap Malla. He made Rani Pokhari (Pond) in the heart of Kathmandu and build a temple in the middle of the same pond. Janai Purnima Janai Purnima is a Hindu festival celebrated all over the country, with family get togethers and feasts of Kwati or sprout lentils. This day is also a harbinger of rejuvenation with Hindu men renewing their  ‪ Janai and people flocking to Shiva temples in different parts of the country. It is a big day to observe the Shaman culture. On this day Shamans of the valley and around Nepal gather to perform their ancient rites in places like the Kumbeshwar in Patan, Gosaikunda in  Langtang  and Charikot in Dolakha. raksha Bandhan Raksha Bandhan is one of the main festivals in Hindu religion. Although it is celebrated across India, it holds special reference for those belonging to the northern and western parts of the country. The priests in the country announce special time for tying rakhi on the day of Raksha Bandhan. It is time for the ladies to adorn beautiful attires and get ready for the occasion. They are mostly seen wearing ethnic ensembles with matching accessories and footwear. Men are also seen donning traditional Indian attire. The atmosphere is filled with love and joy.
