Dashain
During the month of Kartik (late September and early October), the Nepalese people indulge in the biggest festival of the year, Dashain. Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country. The fifteen days of celebration occurs during the bright lunar fortnight ending on the day of the full moon. Thorough out the kingdom of Nepal the goddess Durga in all her manifestations are worshiped with innumerable puja, abundant offerings and thousands of animal sacrifices for the ritual holy bathing, thus drenching the goddess for days in blood.
Now I will tell about how I celebrate my dashain . We wake up early in the morning we take bath. We wear new dress and went to grandfather and grandmother house at 10 o clock. We say Namaste to our relatives. We sit there and talk about many things. We put Tika and Jamara. We and started to eat delicious food. And after eating food we again started to talk. And after wards we started to dance. In the next morning we went to 2 places. First we went to grandmother house at sarswatinagar . We went at 11 o clock. We say Namaste to our grandmother and she started to put tika to us . we started to play games to sister and clicking photo and watching Youtube . After two three hours we went to baneswor to put tika . at 2 0 clock and we stared yo put tika and had lots fun with my small sister. And we started to eat food AT 4 30 and we came back home. In next morning we went to Jaulakhel to our GRANDMOTHER HOUSE AT 10:15 O CLOCK wealso say Namaste to our 3 grandmothers . We sit down for while and started to put tika . After that we seephone for while and my mother and my family started to talk . After that we eat delicious food and play with my small brother. In that day we ca\me home at 6 o clock.
