Defination

• Man is a large computer network that spans a metropolitan area or campus. In other words, Man is a computer network that interconnects users with computers resources in geographical region of the size of a metropolitan area.

• A MAN is a type of network which covers an entire city. It is controlled by a group or single organization. Its geographical scope falls between WAN and LAN. They are typically used wireless infrastructures or optical fiber connections to link their sites.It is used private or public connection media. • There is a high chances of attacking hackers on the network compared to LAN.
• To set up MAN it requires technical people that can correctly setup MAN.
